We equip people and communities to care well in the face of trauma and displacement. Through training and coaching, we build understanding, strengthen practical skills, and help teams respond with wisdom, compassion, and sustainability.

We offer a range of services designed to meet the needs of individuals, teams, and communities working in contexts of trauma and displacement. You can find them below. If you have something specific in mind, we’d be glad to partner with you to shape a custom approach.

  • This training helps individuals and teams understand how trauma affects the brain and body, and how it shapes the way people experience the world. Participants will learn practical ways to offer care that is safe, respectful, and grounded in understanding.

    We also explore how to set healthy boundaries, recognize personal limits, and care in ways that are sustainable over time. Clear guidance is given on when and how to refer to additional support, so that people receive the level of care they truly need.

    The goal is to equip participants to respond with wisdom, compassion, and confidence—while caring well for both others and themselves.

  • This training helps individuals and teams better understand how they engage across cultures. Participants will be able to assess their level of intercultural competence and gain insight into how their experiences, assumptions, and communication styles shape cross-cultural interactions.

    We introduce practical strategies to strengthen cross-cultural fluency, helping participants grow in awareness, adaptability, and confidence when engaging with people from different backgrounds.

    The training also explores common sources of cross-cultural conflict and offers tools to navigate differences in ways that reduce misunderstanding and honor the dignity of everyone involved. Participants will learn how to communicate and respond in ways that foster respect, build trust, and create more meaningful connection across cultures.

  • This training prepares facilitators to confidently host and guide Table of Hope gatherings. Participants learn how to create safe, respectful spaces rooted in clear ethics, informed consent, and trauma-aware practice.

    We walk through how to prepare for a Table of Hope gathering, including how to structure the space, set expectations, and guide meaningful conversation without pressure or harm. Special attention is given to trauma-based support, group dynamics, and how to hold space for reflection in a way that protects both participants and facilitators.

    The goal is to equip facilitators to lead gatherings that are safe, thoughtful, and life-giving—where people can process their experiences, feel supported, and experience genuine connection.

How the consultation process develops

Initial connection

After we receive a request through our contact form, we schedule an initial connection—typically a Google Meet call—to learn more about your needs, ask clarifying questions, and explore how we can best support you and your team.

Planning and preparation

Based on our initial conversation, we design a tailored plan for your team or organization, ensuring it fits your goals and context. Once confirmed, we adapt all training or sessions specifically for your team’s context.

Delivery of training

We come on-site (or meet virtually if needed) to deliver a predetermined amount of training sessions, facilitate debriefs, or lead your selected sessions. Our focus is on creating a safe, interactive, and practical learning space.

Ongoing support

After the training, we follow up to check in, answer questions, and offer next steps. When helpful, we can provide additional resources or ongoing support to help you continue building trauma-informed practices in your community.
