Chris is a dedicated and passionate leader with deep experience working alongside refugee communities. He holds a Master’s degree in Humanitarian and Disaster Leadership from Wheaton College, where he developed expertise in trauma intervention and care for displaced populations. Chris has a strong record of designing and managing effective programs, cultivating partnerships, and offering vital training in trauma-informed mental health support across global contexts.
He is a co-founder of Mending Together, a nonprofit organization focused on equipping ordinary people to walk with refugees through relationships grounded in compassion, care, and community. Rooted in his Christian faith and devotion to the teachings of Jesus, Chris approaches his work with a holistic mindset that values both practical support and relational healing. He is also a devoted husband and father of two daughters. His self-care practices include watching soccer, reading, playing games with friends, and spending meaningful time with his family.
